woke up this morning and felt like sweating. so i did some power yard work and the sweat couldn’t stop. felt so good!
working out and being productive at the same time is like killing two birds with one stone. my yard, flower plants, and fruit trees look perfect.
i taught this 15 year old girl how to drive today so we went around the island. on the way, i took her to all the tourist destinations just in case she wants to pursue a career as a guide. first stop was the most popular tree in the world. when i seen the tour bus pull up, i said “run before the tourists block the view!!”
then i explained to her how to take a photo. not bad. haha.
then sure enough, the entire tree was blocked by a hundred tourists.
then we stopped by Dole Plantation in Wahiawa.
the Passion Fruit cotton candy was looking pretty sweet!
then back on the road to the North Shore. i wish i could have taken a nap but i had to keep my eyes open because i don’t trust any 15 year old behind the wheel.
then stopped by Haleiwa Bowl for the best acai bowl on the North Shore.
then checked out Ali’i Beach Park. it was beautiful!
then stopped by a super secret spot for the adventurous. i sat on the picnic table enjoying the fresh air, local style, and sweet orange.
this is someplace i’d like to keep secret. so dam amazing!
we passed by Kaneohe and almost made it around the island when i seen my guides eyes starting to close. so i took over the wheel and she slept in 10 seconds. and when she woke up, she told me “i don’t know how you do this everyday?” haha.
ate a nice Oxtail Yellow Stew for an early dinner and made it home safely. super fun day and super great Hawaii guide and driving experience!
