it was an incredible surfing day! super warm and super fun as i spent 5 hours in the ocean.
started off with Okada-san in the morning. super cool kid that loves to surf!
then surfed with Kawabe-san in the afternoon. first time to Hawaii and straight off the airplane!
i pulled under a tree to rest for a few minutes. i looked at the outside temperature gauge and it was 38C!!! then it came down to 35C a few minutes later. that’s freaking 100 degrees F in the shade!!! it’s the first time my temperature gauge ever went that high!
i am totally burnt! today has to be a record hottest day ever in Hawaii. i think i now believe in global warming????
