loving life here in Chatan. going out all day with my dive buddies, talking stories, enjoying nature, and coming back safe. thanks boys for the awesome day, can’t wait to go again this morning! see you guys down at the harbor!
after a long day of diving, you get pretty dam hungry. so i was looking forward to our little yakiniku bbq style party.
then the platter of sashimi came out. wow!
last week i was in Hawaii watching a video of a guy in Okinawa making sashimi from an Uhu. i really wanted to try it for myself so that was my target fish on this trip. here it is!
if you tell people in Hawaii to eat Uhu sashimi style, they would never believe it. but now you better because i’m going back home and making it this way. it was so delicious!
Hayato shot a big Omilu yesterday. so big that it bent his spear shaft. so this sashimi you’re looking at actually costed him $80 or 10,000 yen for a new shaft. thank you Hayato for the expensive fresh sashimi! haha. it was so amazing!
and thanks to my friends in Okinawa for the wonderful time. so sad i have to leave soon…
