good evening. i finally got to sit down and look through some emails and stuff. wanted to thank everybody for sending such nice emails. to okinawan tommy over there in hawaii, yeah, your country is the bomb. i love it here. hope you can make it back here soon and live the okinawan life with your family. to kat mcdowell, thanks for putting the go-naminori sticker on your guitar case. that’s cool. hope to make it back to tokyo to check out your concert. to james kodama, once again, congratulations on your retirement, to kyle and kathy nakamoto, yeah, i can’t wait till we get on the ‘120 yacht and sail indonesia, to craig sako, catch me a moi too, to nohea in puerto rico, hang on there kid, i’m always thinking of you, and to everybody in hawaii, can’t wait to see you all. it’s at time like this is when i get happier than i already am. i’ve been meeting the nicest people around this world and i just can’t get enough of it. i love to travel, and i love to meet people. and like most of you already know, i love to talk… haha. get back to all your emails sometime, but for now, gotta go…. have a great evening…
went to grab a few drinks at hard reef with ko-chan the other night. we were sitting down watching surf vids when i heard somebody say, “where’s kirby”… i looked and it was this big marine holding a pool stick calling me out. huh? i was like “oh no, not again”…. haha. earlier, ko-chan had written my name on the chalk board for a turn in pool. so it was me against this guy that was running the table all night. so the competitor in me came out. i took my jacksan face off and focused on the ball. then there it was, eight ball side pocket. winner…. this was the moment… i stole this photo of islandaroma’s blog. thanks yoshimi-san for giving my blog a plug…
