Fresh Food: Everywhere Good!

240

it was sunset time and we were getting hungry.  so instead of eating an early dinner, we ate some sunset appetizers.

Naoka on his very first overnight Mayuki boat trip.  Maki-san is already a VIP.  haha.

then when night came, we started preparing for dinner.  i grabbed a big lobster out of the cooler and made sashimi.  sorry the presentation wasn’t the best, but let me tell you it was freaking amazing!

then Maki-san started up the nabe party.  we threw in some fish and used the lobster heads for the soup base.  omg, it was amazing!

then of course, we eat what we catch.  fresh lobster!

and now i’m back on the island, i can take my time and prepare things a little nicer.  sashimi from one of the fish, and sashimi from one of the lobsters.  nothing goes to waste.

i’m not sure how much something like this will cost in Japan, but i probably wouldn’t be able to afford it.  in Hawaii, you can’t get anything like this anywhere.  this is priceless…

then lobster miso soup to go with the meal.   more delicious dinners on the way!
