met the coolest CPA this morning. Niwa-san’s first time surfing in his life and this was his first wave ever. i couldn’t believe he stood up so fast!
and i bet he was surprised to be flying over the ocean! haha.
then many more perfect rides all morning long. i couldn’t believe how much energy he had!
Niwa-san is a very intelligent man. he took his CPA test here in Hawaii. passed it in English. then took another one in Japan and passed it there. that’s double smart!
i asked Niwa-san what made him decide to surf. he said he always watches the view from the beach and was wondering how it would look from the ocean. well, here it is! the best way to view Waikiki!
hardly anybody was out today so i got to catch a few waves on my own. so stoked!
Niwa-san seemed a little tense in the beginning so i told him to smile. and once his smile came out, i could see him enjoying the ride 10x more!
and so was i!
