i had a peaceful morning in the ocean cleaning and scrubbing Mayuki’s bottom. the water was clean, the weather was perfect, and it was so calm. my mind was at ease. after that, i had an appointment to pick up something i’ve been waiting patiently for the past 22 days. so i jump in the truck and drive down King Street. the light turned green so as i was crossing an intersection, this lady came out of the side road and went across the red light. OMG!!!! BAM!!!!
i slammed my brakes, as my truck slammed into the side of her car. the impact was so hard that the back of my truck actually lifted in the air, and her car went flying sideways. omg! i stop, run outside and see if the lady was ok. she was shocked, but not hurt. i asked her what happened? she said “the light turned from yellow to red as i was approaching the intersection so i just went.” we pulled over, i called the police, and we exchanged information.
i got out and couldn’t believe what happened??? or should i say, what didn’t happen? my truck looked pretty good. i thought it would be a total wreck!
the front was smashed into the tire so my brother came down to help me pry it off so i could drive the truck home.
as for the lady’s Toyota? omg! thank goodness nobody was hurt!!! it could have been way worst!!!
the crazy thing was: i was actually driving down to pick up my new rims and tires i ordered. i was so happy when they called me yesterday to pick it up after waiting so long. i had plans to come home and put them on the truck. i was so excited! but instead, i brought the rims home, stored it in my garage, and took a nap. i was a little depressed to tell you the truth. i was hoping to wake up and the whole thing being a nightmare. what a bummer….
