40 years of love. i’m totally amazed by Mama and Papa Iwata-san’s relationship. they love they have for each other is such a beautiful thing.
Papa loves poke so Mama said “lets go eat poke.”
i took them before to everywhere else on the island except the West side. so that’s where we went.

then to the most white sandy beach on the island.
it was absolutely gorgeous. Mama and Papa loving the postcard view.
lovers footsteps. i just watch the cutest couple enjoying their lives.
on the way back i ask Mama and Papa if they want to stop by McDonald’s for my favorite soft cream. they were silent… come to find out, i was both their first time to eat soft cream at McDonald’s. they didn’t even know about it. haha. so we stopped by and enjoyed the sweetness. i’m sure they will be visiting McDonald’s when they get back to Japan too. haha.
then went open house. we started at the $1M houses and worked our way up.

i’d love to have a bedroom like this someday.
Mama and Papa wanted to do things they didn’t do before, so today was the day of new things. and walking into a $8M house was one of them.
but the highlight of the day was this beautiful beach. i have to say it is the most beautiful on Oahu by far.
i love this photo. it shows 2 wonderful people that love life, and love each other for the past 40 years. i had the most wonderful day with Mama and Papa. i learned how to be strong and energetic like Mama, and i learned how to be so kind and gentle like Papa. if everybody had parents like this, the world would be a much better place. thank you Mama and Papa Iwata-san for the wonderful day of inspiration. miss you already see you guys again next year!
