so stoked that the waves came up today in town. super clean conditions and super fun waves. went surfing with Oku-san. as always, we had fun!
last week, a box was at my front door? i came home and thought somebody made a mistake. a Yeti box??? i thought i won a lottery or some kind of contest??? i knew it wasn’t for me, but i opened the box anyway.
OMG, the coolest Yeti cooler ever! i always wanted to get one of these! i still had no clue why i got it??? then a few days later, Miwa-san sent me an email “Happy Birthday!” omg, thank you so much Miwa-san! the cold beers will be waiting for you!!!
to me, i feel like it’s my birthday every day because i am fortunate to wake up to another wonderful day. but on October 1st, i took Rikita-san and Toshimi-san surfing and i had no idea they knew i was born on that day? they totally surprised me!
OMG, this is exactly what i needed for my dinner trips on Mayuki! thank you Rikita-san and Toshimi-san!
want to thank Kimura-san too! i can’t wait to go to Wakayama and get drunk off this bottle of whiskey! be ready for a wild night!
ok, another year has passed. i’ve had many experiences since my last birthday. been up in the mountains, been down in the oceans, and had the greatest memories ever. i look back, appreciate everything that’s happened, good or bad, happy or sad, everything was great for me.
now, i’m looking forward to another wonderful year of traveling, friendships, experiences, and many more memories. i’m getting older and feel a little more wiser. i can see a lot more clearly the path i want to take in life. it’s a lot more calm, a lot more simple, and a lot more happier. hope to see you along that wonderful path!
