i’ve been coming to Japan for 27 years and i could never get bored of the food it seems like the more i come, the more i love it. Matsu gave me a recommendation of a good restaurant so i walked in, sat at the counter, and enjoyed a cold beer and warm culture.
some dishes are already out on the counter so you just point and choose. this is my favorite!
and since i always eat fish from the ocean, i wanted to try fish from the river. this was amazing!
my private counter top bbq! so nice!
i still don’t know what these beans are called but this is my favorite too. it goes good with a cold draft beer.
in Nagoya, this is the special udon. omg, so amazing!
and we don’t have Saba in Hawaii so i always eat this in Japan. fresh and delicious!
then when i was walking back to my hotel, i passed by this local ramen shop. of course i was curious, and when i’m curious, i try it. you wouldn’t believe how big the portions are, and you wouldn’t believe how big my stomach was after i ate it all. i feel like a pig so better go walk around and burn off all those calories. haha.
well, the weather is warm, the food is amazing, the people are nice, and like always, i’m just going with the flow of things. had my business meeting and now i’m ready to go back home. but first, i’ll go eat something delicious before i head to the airport. have a wonderful day!
