got up early and just by looking at my dive watch sitting on my desk, it made me feel like diving. but i knew the waves would be good too so i had so surf. paddled out, it was crowded, everybody was hungry, so i said to myself “forget this, i’m going diving.” asked a couple friends out in the lineup and they felt the same exact way. the next wave, we rode it in.
went to load up my dive gear. made sure i wasn’t missing anything. didn’t take my spear because wasn’t really in the killing mode.
instead of hunting, we went free dive training. wanted to see what level the girls were on. and i was freaking impressed today. super impressed.
pulled up to some amazing deep caves. if you’re claustrophobic, forget it. if you’re ready for the challenge, come on! it was the most beautiful underwater world i’ve seen in a long time.
came home at 2pm and started to put the puzzle back together. right as i started, so did the rain. in fact, it was storming.
but it’s only water right? i worked and worked happily in the rain. i think i was so at ease because of the early encounter with nature. once i was done a few hours later, i couldn’t have been happier with the results. the truck looks better than before. haha.
i was soaking wet, but soaking happy too!
stopped by the Moniz house and had a sample of some fresh sashimi Isaiah caught on his fishing pole. it was so good!
then went to Kahala Mall to grab a cold beer to end the day. Live Simply.
and some protein to replenish all the calories i burnt today. surfed, dived, mechanic, and laughs. thank you girls for the wonderful time!
