another day of surfing all day long! started off with the 3 amigos.
Naoya-san was waiting on the farthest outside all morning long catching the biggest waves of the day. he wasn’t holding back at all!
and riding every wave till the very end. amazing!
after the other days storm surf, Osamu-san was in comfort land today. smooth surfing and too easy.
Osamu-san paddled until he couldn’t paddle anymore. i’m sure he built some new muscles on this 3 day surf Boot Camp.
Hasegawa-san was riding each and every wave perfectly. smooth and very high performance.
and smiling the whole way. i like to watch people enjoying surfing as much as Hasegawa-san does. it makes me love surfing more than i already do.
and friends sharing waves. this is happy stress free surfing!
after we ate pho, everybody got tired. it happens all the time. haha. thank you boys again for the wonderful days of surfing!
then went straight to surf with Oshima-san. waves still perfect as he instantly learned how to do some fast turning. you should have seen his last wave! freaking awesome!
as of today, you can no longer look at your phone while crossing the street. if you do, you will get a $35 ticket. Hawaii is the first in America to implement this law. good idea because i almost run over people everyday because they look at their phones while crossing the street. in fact, a couple people actually walked right into my car when i’m at the intersection. crazy!
and no, they still can’t get the boat off the reef at Kaimana Beach. they ran out of options and have no idea how to get it off. if i were in charge, i’d just wait till the next high tide on November 3rd, hook up 3 tow lines, and have 3 tug boats yank it off the reef. that’s the only way. the reef is already smashed so pull it out the exact same way it got stuck. make sense? but give up for now because there is no way it’s coming off with the tides this week.
