yesterday was another turning point for Oshima-san. i’m trying my hardest to get him where he wants to be, which is off the lip! but before doing an off the lip, you have to have a good bottom turn. bend you knees, look forward, keep your hands up, and push off your back foot. exactly like this!
then set your board on the rail near the fins, just like this. and when you do this, the board will do the rest of the work.
then when you go up the top, start turning back down just like this. keep your arms up and look forward. the board will do the rest of the work. this is the first time i seen Oshima-san do an off the top. it was freaking beautiful!
and this is what you call pure stoke! and when you’re stoked, i’m stoked too!
going out for a sunset cruise is the best way to end the day. it makes you feel sort of complete.
and now that we are in our winter months, every sunset will be unique. perfect time to view the green flash! and the best place to view it is from the ocean.
i’m still so full from eating all this meat!

i’m still tripping out at this pool. i looked up and kind of freaked out. it was weird, but pretty cool.
then this girl was swimming around in her bikini. lots of people were looking up and i’m surprised there weren’t any car accidents. haha.
this is what you call living the luxury life. something i wouldn’t mind hanging out of my condo someday. but for now, i’ll stick to the ocean. at least there won’t be anybody below watching me swim around naked. haha.
