i had a free dive lesson today so i made sure i didn’t forget anything. took my surfboard just in case the waves were good. haha.
omg, i felt like we were gliding on glass. it was absolutely perfect!
can’t believe how many million dollar condos are popping up!!! please stop! it’s kind of crazy how i’m hoping the housing market crashes so normal people can finally afford a house in Hawaii. at this rate, expect more and more homeless people living on the streets.
i’m prepared to survive no matter what happens here in Hawaii. and that’s why i’m teaching others to do so too. teaching someone how to catch a fish to eat for dinner is very rewarding for me.
and usually we catch something to eat. everyday is different so it’s like walking into a supermarket. then only difference is fish from the ocean is free.
what is not free is gas. i just watch the numbers keep on rolling up and up. and hoping it will stop soon.
but no, it keeps on going and going. today, 80 gallons cost me $280. that’s 302 liters for 31,700 yen. now Mayuki is ready for my next outer island trip. spent some time scrubbing the bottom and realized how much energy it takes to hold your breath and scrub upside down. i’m freaking so tired and have absolutely no energy to do anything. going to sleep. good night.
