once again, the ocean amazed me. i left the harbor thinking i was just going to teach the girls how to hunt small fish. than i get the ride of my life. i usually have to travel to the other side of the world to see and shoot fish this big. it’s crazy to do it right in my back yard. a day i will never forget.
Maki-san sent me the video clip and i got to see myself struggle to the top barely making it. i teach everybody not to panic and thank goodness i didn’t or else i wouldn’t be here.
i took my small reef with me gun because i was using it earlier. i was totally unprepared but kind of amazed how lucky i was to bring a fish the size back on the boat. i’m still tripping out to tell you the truth.
i drove through Waikiki for Halloween night. the reason i didn’t walk this year is because so many people told me that there was a rumor going around that somebody was going to shoot people from the top of a building. or even drive a car into the crowd. scary.
maybe the police heard about the rumor too because it’s the first time they blocked off the streets like this. good idea.
but there were still people walking on the streets enjoying the night life.
woke up early this morning and headed to the North Shore. never felt like surfing with people so surfed alone at this secret spot that is still a secret. perfect waves and happy day!
wiped out once and it felt so good! it’s crazy how i love the underwater world so much.
then came home and ate some Rainbow Runner. omg, it was amazing!
