want to thank Naoka for driving me around on this wonderful short surf trip. kind of took things as it came but everything turned out perfectly.
had an amazing dinner at this cool restaurant near Ichinomiya station. beer, wine, nabe, and many laughs.
we were trying to get a photo of us all but couldn’t figure out where to put the iPhone. then the youngest one had the smartest idea!
Mayumi-san is a very intelligent young woman. speaks multiple languages, loves to surf, travels the world, and is smiling all the time. welcome to the team Mayumi-san!
omg, the food was excellent. next time i go back to Chiba, i’m eating here for sure.
then went up the mountain for some late night drinks at Jasmin’s house. it’s been 8 years since i’ve been there. we always have a great time and have many laughs throughout the years. beautiful house, beautiful food, and beautiful people… thanks Jasmin and Hide-san for always welcoming us with open arms.
it’s unbelievable how we all got up early this morning for a surf. i guess thats why the call us crazy surfers!
it’s been so long since i wore a full suit to surf. i was pretty warm in the water but when i came out, i was freezing cold! i couldn’t feel my hands and feet!
then went to the best tom yum ramen shop in the world. omg, this was so amazing!!! thank you Naoka, Miwa-san, and Mayumi-san for the amazing surf session. so happy!
then came back to Tokyo and watched Naoka drive big circles around while we were lost. we were heading to Shinagawa but somehow ended up in Shibuya? took more time and money to get to our destination but we finally did. almost perfect Naoka. haha!
