i’ve been coming to Japan for pretty long. so long before the underwater Aqualine was even built. i use to fly into Haneda and look down when they were constructing it. i use to think “what the heck is that???”
connecting Chiba to Tokyo underwater. the best and most efficient builders in the world are Japanese. we should have hired them to build the rail in Hawaii. it would have been done a long time ago…
Naoka getting lost is pretty usual for me. i’m use to it but after going through a tunnel one way, then coming back out the same tunnel the opposite way 20 minutes later, i had to say something. we were so close to my destination, but yet so far. somethings never change. haha.
beautiful weather in Japan. so happy to see the blue sky.
the reason there is absolutely no good shabu shabu or sukiyaki restaurants in Hawaii is because we don’t have good quality meat. you can buy quality meat at any supermarket in Japan.
want to thank Jasmin for the gift. i kept that on the counter downstairs because you know we’ll be back.
and want to thank Mana-chan for the awesome Okinawan gifts! hope you had a safe flight home!
