as we were walking to our flight to Taiwan, Aoi says to me “umm, i’ve never seen or heard of this airplane before?” haha.
Aoi is so lucky to travel with experienced travelers like this. Kimura-san and Matsu traveled the world and know so much. this is decades of experience.
for those of you who didn’t hear about Peach Airlines before, Peach is a low-cost airlines that has some of the lowest airfares around. you can fly to other countries for $50 sometimes. us surfers love this airlines.
the 3 of us always have fun no matter where we go. this trip was planned last minute like always. when i texted Matsu a couple days ago about going to Taiwan, his reply was “why not?” haha.
if you’re a kid traveling with me, it’s mandatory for you to keep up with school work. if you don’t, it will be your first and last trip with me. it’s also mandatory to learn something new each day. today, i taught Aoi about foreign currency and how to calculate it. super confusing but super important. he’s figuring it out and once he does, he’ll be a step ahead of most kids back in Hawaii. this is real life math…
