we pulled up into this little town in Taiwan searching for boba tea. found a place but there was a problem, nobody spoke English.
but after years of traveling to foreign countries, we all know that everybody understands body language. it’s very universal. haha.
if you really want something, never give up.
the next day we came to this same place, Aoi ordered and payed for his own milk tea. this kids a very fast learner.
and he couldn’t believe how cheap it was. less than a dollar for the exact same drink that cost five dollars in Hawaii.
yeah, i had to take care of 2 kids on this trip. one young one that wants to listen. and one older one that doesn’t want to listen. haha.
if you come from Hawaii, don’t even try to figure out this menu because it’s impossible.
so stoked for Seth to make his way to the finals yesterday. it still blows me away that these kids use to be so scared of Pipeline. now, they surf it like it’s their playground.
