wow, just came home from our annual family Christmas dinner party. good food, good family, good time, and good fun.
Christmas is for kids. just to see their smiles from the toys from Santa.
here is Seth Moniz trying to put the track together for Mateus. i was laughing watching this.
Maui beer and Japanese shochu. went great with the hand roll sushi party.
today was departing day. after 16 fun days of surf, dive, and adventure, Asayama-san left. but before getting on his flight, we went to catch a few waves early this morning. this was wave number 1.
all it takes is a few waves in the morning, then it makes the flight back to Japan much more pleasant. perfect way to end the perfect trip. good job Asayama-san!
i passed Nao-san an even shorter board and said “paddle out and get a few on your own.” she did just that.
this was 2 years ago when she first started surfing.
and this is now. pretty unbelievable how fast she’s progressed. must have had a great sleep on the flight.
thank you to my 2 surf buddies. this past few weeks has been freaking amazing. time went by really fast but the memories will last a lifetime. keep warm, keep healthy, keep smiling, and keep surfing. i’m so proud of you guys!!!
