took Kanai-san surfing early this morning. she’s a long boarder so we went long boarding. i know this girl is always up for the challenge so i asked her if she wanted to try something different.
a girl that challenges herself never turns down a challenge. so i give her my shortboard and things got interesting.
Kanai-san surfed it perfectly from her first wave. it was the perfect fit!
bigger challenge, bigger smile. simple. and can’t go wrong with a rainbow in the back.
say good bye to long boarding because i don’t think this girl will ever longboard again. haha.
got a snack from Kanai-san so i came home and opened it up.
omg, i love chestnuts! thank you so much.
went surfing this afternoon, then again this evening. surfed 3 rounds and spent 6 hours in the water. don’t know how i had the energy to do turns this evening. but hey, it felt wonderful!
everyday the sunset has been so different. today’s was like a spotlight in the ocean. so calm, and so beautiful.
drove through Waikiki on the way home. hundreds of people lining up for the golden moment.
want to thank Shirato-san for the classic Canon camera present! it came out the year i was born so this is pretty old, just like me. haha.
and thank you Yumi-chan for the drawing. so cute!!! miss you Okinawan girls!
