Iwakawa-san’s only been surfing for a few months and he was so good! i couldn’t believe his balance and ability.

Nanako-chan’s only 13 years old and amazes me. on the beach, she told me she was a goofy footer? then she would stand up regular foot?
then on the next wave, she would surf goofy foot? that takes talent and extreme balance. amazing. Yassan’s been teaching them surfing in Shikoku so now i know why they are so good!

so cool watching my nephew Micah getting better and better each day. he’s been putting in 4-5 hours/day and the results are amazing. can’t wait to get mine!
surfed this evening till sunset with Akane-chan. so good to see her back in Hawaii!
