woke up super early and headed out to find another perfect surf spot. it was so beautiful!

we paddle out before the sun rises, and watch the most beautiful golden moment from the sea. that was 6:50am…. then…
at 8am, there was a freaking EMERGENCY ALERT! BALLISTIC MISSLE TO HAWAII! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! what??? it turned to be a false alarm. some guy pressed the wrong button by accident????
but it took a long 38 minutes for the government to say it was a false alarm. 38 minutes of panic in paradise! thankfully we were surfing and didn’t even know what happened. haha.
come home and watch the news. it’s a very scary thought what could have really happened. and i wonder what would happen if somebody pressed the wrong button which happened to start the new nuclear war? it’s like “opps, i accidentally pressed the missile launch button and started WWIII. eeh???
thank you to my friends that sent me messages about the missile. i was in a very good place, the ocean.
everybody is asking themselves today, what would happen if a missile actually launched towards Waikiki? i have no answer to that…
anyway, we surfed for almost 5 hours straight this morning. lots of things happened during that time, but we were in our little dream world. riding wave after wave, laughing after laughing, and enjoying our time till the fullest. can’t wait for tomorrow…
