Hagiya-san’s been surfing for a long time. but after today, he will be surfing even longer because he learned something new. and when you learn something new in surfing, it only gets better.
Yamaguchi-san also tried something new. and when he perfected it, his surfing looked perfect just like this.
by the end of the session, Hagiya-san was ripping! doing turns he’s never done before. so stoked.
and keeping calm and cool. that’s the key to a great ride.
the boys caught so many waves today. i just watched and watched as they got better and better.
good job boys! remember the adjustments and rip it up back in Okinawa!
