Tsunami Debris?

233

i’ve been asking local friends on outer islands to let me in on the most beautiful places. i swore to them that i will never tell anyone. when i get the info, i jump on Google Maps and research where to park Mayuki. you can’t just park her anywhere because of currents, waves, and reefs. so after careful planning, i learn by experience. then i swim to shore and think to myself “wow, this is heaven!”

and on every trip, i tell my crew that we only take what we need, and nothing more. on this particular trip, we barely caught anything to tell you the truth. we just ended up exploring around and finding new things. that was the fun part of this trip.

i went to visit one of my secret dive spots, and something looked terribly different. i saw a fish net wrapped around the reef!!! omg! i never seen these kind of nets in Hawaii so i was wondering if it’s from the Japan Tsunami? i’ve seen these kind of nets in Japan so maybe that’s where it came from.

it was such a bummer seeing this. i am thinking of taking a crew there to help me take this net off this precious reef. if not, it will be there for many years to come. please help!
