One Breath and One Minute…

when we where fishing on Molokai, Kelia asked me “hey unko, how long does it take to catch a fish?” haha. that is the funniest thing i ever heard! it could be a minute, or it could be never. nobody knows. anyway, since nothing was biting, we put away the poles and jumped into the ocean for a dive.

fishing is pure luck. spear fishing is different. it’s more like hunting so i can almost guarantee you i’ll catch something. Kelia was filming this so i knew i had to spear the fish before she scared it away. haha.

it took me one breath and one minute to catch this nice uhu. this is the very reason why i don’t fish. and plus, you can’t catch an uhu on a fishing pole. one of the best eating fish in Hawaii!

want to thank Chizu-san for sending me this photo. i’m in the Tohoku newspaper! yeah! want to say hello to all my friends in Tohoku. We Are One!

i have 2 Rimowa suitcases that were super dirty, and both broken. so i took a chance and asked the Rimowa store in Ala Moana Shopping center to take a look at it. they called me back 3 days later and both suitcases were fixed, and cleaned up. all for free!!! that’s what i call excellent service!

get ready for tomorrows Hapalua Half Marathon race. road closures, traffic, and hard to move anywhere near Waikiki. so be patience and keep calm…
