Mateus is full on into Lion Dancing now. all he does is try to speak Chinese and dance all around the house.
he told me his Papa bought him this costume from Chinatown. he dances with it, watches tv with it, and probably sleeps with it. so cute!

how the Japanese package food totally amazes me.
going to Molokai with the Moniz family was a precious memory. waking up in the morning and just going with the flow was so cool. i paddled out one morning with Kelia and the waves were super good. i see Kelia take off, pull into the most beautiful barrel, and come out. no cameras because cameras aren’t welcomed here. but that image of this beautiful girl smiling in the most perfect barrel will be etched in my mind forever. it’s those moments that make you appreciate time, family, and old Hawaii…
brought back home the best of the best Kava from the Hawaiians that grow Kava deep in the valleys. pure, natural, and soothing. so good!
