paddling out and seen the coolest Eagle Ray…
so stoked to get these kind of photos. been super comfortable on my foil going as high as possible to get the drone effect shot. i was yelling “go!” to Nao-san and all of a sudden, i hit something!
felt like i hit a wall but my foil actually hit the reef!!! it stopped all of a sudden and i went over the front.
still filming and i knew the reef was very near because of how i fell from so high.
hit the reef, but no cuts. thank you to my Dove Wetsuit. but this is probably why my camera was filled with water. omg!
then i flipped my board over to see the damage. just a little scratch. thank goodness. i would have cried if i broke my foil…
