we’ve been driving around and surfing pretty much every spot that breaks. some good, some super good, and some freaking crazy. and along the way, we see the most simple way of living. this house is like a dream house for me!
this is the way people in remote areas live. water from the well, and an outdoor restroom.
yes, go home and appreciate your bathroom.
the water from the well is used for everything except drinking. so when you take a shower, you better not get any water in your mouth. lots of surfers get sick this way.
but for Indonesians, this is a way of life.
if this house was for sale, i’d buy it now! you wouldn’t believe the wave we surfed right out in front. we paddled out one early morning in the dark, and as we got closer to the wave, i could hear it roaring! and the round cylinder barrels almost blew the hair off my head! omg, we surfed this spot all to ourselves. one of the most dreamiest Indo surf sessions of my life!!
so peaceful here. i told myself not to spend too much time on my computer so i haven’t uploaded any photos off my good camera. but let me say this “the waves everyday are perfect! getting barrels and getting high off this amazing journey. i wish it would never end…
