i knew my new board was going to be done when i got back so the first thing i had on my mind was to go to the north shore to pick it up. went to meet John Amundson and had a nice foil chat. this is one of the coolest foilers you will ever meet. and also the best foil shaper in the world right now. thanks John for helping me fly!
no, i couldn’t wait so i went to Bowls and tried it out. i didn’t foil for a long time so i had to start off slow again. but had a blast!
then went to pick up Mori-san for an evening surf. the waves were amazing!
super happy to watch Mori-san catch so many good waves. i told him “when i say go, you go!”
he ended up riding so many good waves.
i followed him on this wave and was yelling “look forward and hit the lip!!!”
and when i seen him hit the lip, i was so stoked!
this is absolutely the best angle shot you can ever get!
and yes, Mori-san completed it nice and clean. this guy rips!
