seen my friends swimming under me at Bowls this morning.
threw them a shaka this time, but next time they will have to face my speargun. it’s been a while since i ate fresh sashimi.
took Mori-san surfing this morning. i was totally surprised how good he got! he’s been practicing for a year ever since out last Boot Camp and the results are amazing.
i couldn’t take photos from front because he was actually surfing faster than me. so i had to ride behind and Mori-san showed me how to ride this wave.
nice off the top and gaining speed for the next turn.
this is high performance surfing! last year he couldn’t do this, but now he can.
and he finished off the maneuver and i were a judge, i’d give him a 8.5 on this ride.
i gave him some advice today so he can take his surfing up to another level. i’m looking forward to surfing with him next year because this guy rips!

then i went surfing right after with Rie-san. this girl is getting good too!
after 2 rounds and 5 hours in the water, i had to check out Diamond Head on the way home. the waves were calling me but i was too tired. so i took a 10 minute nap in my car and was ready for another session.
i got out my foil and had an amazing 2 hours of fun. i love my new purple board! 7 hours of surfing today and i am totally burnt! good night.
