yesterday evening we had a blast foiling Bowls. Toda-san getting better and better. you can tell just by watching his smile because he wasn’t smiling a few days ago. haha.
Carter wasn’t smiling for a long time too when he started so after all the foil training, it’s time to enjoy the ride.
Carter told me “hey, Toda-san is trying to catch too big of waves. he’s crazy! you have to tell him to stay in the way inside and catch the white wash.” i told Carter, “i told him that 10x but he doesn’t listen to me.” haha.
Carter and I laugh at all the new foilers because we know how frustrating it is, and we know it will come with time.

i was foiling with Carter from the start so we worked together to improve our skills. and now we can share waves without freaking out. haha.
took a big Kumu to a Chinese restaurant and they cooked it perfectly for us. it was amazing!
