welcome back Nishio-san! so stoked to see you surfing so good!
and nice cutback too! so smooth…
Yoshida-san was riding an 11’0 longboard last year but now he’s on a short board. amazing progress in just one year!
nice take off, and nice long riding…
the cool thing about these guys is they like to share waves. they are very competitive, but at the same time, very supportive of each others surfing. that’s super cool to see.
so fun surfing in the evening as the sun goes down. these boys were so tired they couldn’t even talk. haha. hope you boys are ready for Boot Camp day 2!
the only way you will get better at foiling is practice, practice, and practice. and wipe out, wipe out, and wipe out. Toda-san’s been going everyday and it’s a matter of time until he gets it. and when he does, watch out world!
then finally, i seen him ride a super long one!!! fully controlled, and fully stoked!
the hard part of foiling is to get to this point. from here, it only gets easier. i’m so stoked to see Toda-san loving life in the air. remember i told you when he started foiling that you won’t see his drone anymore? haha. i wasn’t joking. when you foil, forget everything else. that’s how addicting this thing is.
Toda-san living the local style. he told me he doesn’t want to go back to Japan because he’s having so much fun foiling. so i’m guessing he’s not going back anytime soon.
underneath all this cilantro is a very nice size Mu’u. after i poured the sizzling hot sesame oil over this, it was a dinner in heaven….
