i want to thank Maki-san for sending me these photos of our Molokai Trip. we kind of left late in the morning and paid the price in the channel because the wind was already whipping hard! this was the calm before the storm.
once we arrived, Asayama-san went to walk around in the little town. he got off the boat and some locals offered him a ride.
the big little town of Kaunakakai, Molokai. a lot different from Shibuya yeah? haha.

last. i opened up an email from the New Otani Hotel at Kaimana Beach. i came across this photo that most people would think it’s real if they never knew anything about Hawaii. yeah, so i probably would believe it too if i didn’t know Hawaii so well. but this is absolutely fake! totally photoshopped and pretty disappointing in my eyes. you’re misleading potential customers to stay at this hotel and see this beautiful reef with lots of fish right in front of the white sandy beach. BUT, there is no such thing. if you snorkeled in this exact same spot, you would see sand, sand, and only sand. no fish, nothing, and nothing. so this is pretty misleading in my eyes. pretty shameful…
