the girls wanted to go to take photos of the graffiti so we went to Kakaako. i was explaining to them how the Japanese married couple got beaten up in broad daylight. i guess not everybody knows about that news because i seen a lot of Japanese women down there taking selfies all by themselves. till this day, i still think Kakaako is a dangerous place to be walking if you’re a woman.
i told the girls to go walking around where ever they wanted to. and us boys will be following close and keeping our eyes on them.
Matsumoto-san and i followed close by. it’s so amazing how his and his daughters relationship is so strong. i really envy that…
while we were driving around following the girls, i was more worried about the police arresting us for stalking them. haha. could you imagine if somebody tried to do something stupid? Matsumoto-san and i would have made them regret it pretty bad.
i was totally amazed by the graffiti. this one was my absolute favorite. it looked so real!
i wish i can get a hold of this artist. i’d love to have him paint this on my next surfboard. this would be the coolest!
it’s sad to see yet another high rise luxury condo being built. real estate prices are so high that i predict a crash in the near future. why? because i learned in my science class in college, “what goes up, must come down.” and when it goes crashing down, i can finally afford one!
want to thank Matsumoto-san for the Japanese treat! so good!
i come in from Bowls yesterday and get a text from an unknown number. it says “Hey Kirby, I found this at Bowls yesterday.” what??? could this be the gopro i lost last year??? i’m going to meet this mystery guy soon and find out. if it is, it’s a freaking miracle!!!
