in hawaii, your senior prom was the most anticipated event of a high schoolers life. i still remember mine as i borrowed my mom’s nissan maxima and took my young high school girlfriend out for a special night. i had my white tuxedo, she had an amazing dress, all of our other friends were all dressed up on dates. it was a pretty amazing night. our prom dinner and dance was held at the hyatt regency 3rd floor ballroom. i even remember out senior prom song “Your the Inspiration.” Remember that song that Chicago sang? anyway, it’s a great experience for a young teenager. it breaks you in on how to treat a girl, breaks you in on how to be romantic, and breaks you in on how to sneak out past your curfew. haha. all which i did wrong. now that i look back, i felt sorry for my poor girlfriend because my boys came first. after she went to sleep, the real party started. haha. i still have my prom photos but that will be kept private. but the memory will last forever! thanks to my high school buddies for a great night! wanna do it again?
well, here’s your 2nd chance! can you believe that there is an even called the “2nd Chance Prom?” its’ on october 1st and it should be classic. if you are brave enough, ask someone on a date, dress up, and go to the prom. if you haven’t experienced one, now’s your chance. for me? no thank you. once was enough. i wouldn’t want to put another girl through another bad experience. haha.
this photo was taken earlier this year with my friends from high school. 26 years after high school. we all joke around that girlfriends and boyfriends come and go. but friends are forever. these are my lifetime friends that are bonded together forever. nothing can break us! nothing!!!!
