when i’m up in the air, i still can’t believe what has happened to Oahu. yes i love it here, but i still think it is overdeveloped and out of control. kind of mixed emotions for me honestly…
but to know i have a beautiful island i can run to at any time. that is very relieving and refreshing. you won’t find big buildings or mega tourists here. the people of this island won’t let that happen…
somebody must have borrowed my truck because i don’t remember leaving my shorts and slippers in the back like this. haha.
i’ve been here many times and did this drive over and over. but for some reason, this time there were deer jumping everywhere! they were all over the place and it was so beautiful to see that!
nothings changed. just a few people and lots of nature to go around for everyone.
it was either stay in my bedroom for another day, or go to the top of a tall mountain and breathe the most freshest air in the world. it was an easy choice for me. i felt like throwing my crutches over the mountain! but i didn’t want to litter so that wouldn’t be a good idea. haha. but i can’t tell you how free i felt up there!
