Round 1 was at Bowls.  Big and good.  Sorry no photos.

Round 2 we drove 1 hour searching for the perfect wave on this crowded Sunday afternoon.

Checked my secret spot and nobody was out!  Only us riding every and any wave we wanted.  I forgot how beautiful Hawaii was!

I grew up surfing this wave so it’s like going back to my home.

Every wave is pretty much identical.  Take off, bottom turn, and hit the lip!  So easy!

Can’t wait for tomorrow.  In bed at 6:30pm.  Goodnight.

I’ve been going out on a boat for 35 years and watched this scenery change from year to year.  There use to be only 2 high rise buildings but now you can’t even count how many there are.  

Condos costing in the millions of dollars.  This is Hawaii’s future. 

And the more yellow cranes you see, the more luxury high rises are being built.  To be honest, every time I go out on the boat and see this, I get kind of sad.  Sad because there will be no end.

I’m 90% sure I found the problem.  And I’m 100% getting better sleep now.  The past 2 nights I slept at 6:15pm and tonight will be the same.  So good evening for some, and goodnight for me.

South swell continues.
Ala Moana 5′ and good.
Diamond Head 5′ and bumpy.
Strong trade winds at 25mph.
Sun, showers, and double rainbows.
Going to the sea.
