i’ve been waking up super early for the past 20 years.  super excited to surf, and super exited to get my day started.  early morning is my favorite time of the day so i make sure i’m in the right spot before the sun starts to rise.  the other day, i was foiling and having a great time.  then this drone started following me around on a couple of waves.  when i went in, this guy came up to me and said he took some video.  i came home to check it out and was pretty happy.  it was a small and playful day on the foil, but i was happy, and still am.  thank you John for my happy morning memory!

Ala Moana knee high and clean.
Diamond Head shoulder high and bumpy.
Trade winds at 25mph.
Sun, showers, and rainbows.

i was riding my ebike around town today.  seems like everybody’s been coming back to the beach.

but tourism is still dead.  i passed by a parking lot filled with tour busses that have been sitting here for months.

i counted 25 tour busses just in this lot.  this is only one of the many companies so imagine hundreds of tour busses that were normally on the streets everyday?  and not to mention the thousands of rental cars?  that’s something i don’t miss at all…

i went to take my Aunty to get her covid vaccine today.  it’s for the Kupuna that are 75 years and older.  i was amazed on how smooth the system was…

my Aunty got her Pfizer vaccination and i’m super happy for her.  after she got it, she said she felt good about it.  hope everybody is vaccinated soon so we can get our lives back to normal…
