See you at Sunrise…
Good morning 4:45am.
North shore 6-8′ and good.
Ala Moana knee high and clean.
Diamond Head waist to chest high and fun.
Light trade winds at 15mph.
Sunny and warm day.
Going to the sea.
Have a wonderful day!

a lot of people couldn’t believe what happened today at the US Capital. i surely could. when you have a country totally divided, no matter what happens, half of the people won’t be happy with any election. i was just glad it didn’t get out of control. yes, it was out of control, but it could have been way worst…
when you see agents with guns drawn, look where their fingers are. if you see their index finger on the trigger, that means they’re ready to fire! so better back off or else you will get a bullet in your head. scary…
was watching the clean waves on the inside, and the whales breaching on the outside. another peaceful day here in Hawaii…
Joshua was on the news this morning talking about the cancelation of the WSL Tour upcoming events. he said “i have friends in the world that are still on lockdown and can’t even surf. so i’m pretty grateful we can still surf everyday here in Hawaii.” good boy for keeping positive!
well, the pandemic seems to be getting worst around the world. stay safe and follow the rules so we can get back to normalcy…

yesterday, i woke up early and was thinking about foiling knee high Ala Moana. next thing you know, i was heading out to the North Shore to foil big waves with the boys. for the past 3 months, i’ve been training everyday physically and mentally for this. last year, Kaiborg told me to be ready so when he called, i was 100% ready. i just wished he called me on a smaller day. haha.

each jetski cost $25,000 when it’s set up like this. these guys only have the best so i felt confident going with the best on the best. i knew i was in good hands and with guys that would risk their lives to save mine.

towing into big waves is Kaiborg’s world. he knows everything and is one of the most experienced waterman in the world. so when he’s teaching me, i’m listening very carefully. getting taught by a waterman like him is priceless. no amount of money can buy you experience like this…

i watched Kaiborg go first, then when it was my turn, i just focused and tried to copy and connect. but once i got to speeds like i’ve never felt before, i disconnected and fell on my chest. you’re going so fast that the water surface is like concrete…

gosh, what i learned in one day was amazing. most importantly, i learned that the ocean is more beautiful than i ever thought. i was screaming joy like a kid on every single ride! i bet the boys were laughing at me. haha…

Kaiborg went first and when i saw him carve up this wave, i couldn’t wait for my turn. i’ll be up and ready every single morning in 2021 and when i get the call, i’m there!
