Marathon Rides

this was the very first time i went foiling.  it was 3 years ago and i can remember that day so clearly.  Seth took me out, gave me a SUP board, a huge foil, and said “unko, go for it!”  i seriously thought i was going to die!!! then yesterday, i’m flying around having the time of my life.  and now that i think back, i’m glad i never gave up.  i got hurt, i was frustrated, i was embarrassed, but i told myself never to give up.  foiling gave me excitement in life again.  it gave me confidence, it gave me hope, and it gave me courage.  i feel like Superman now.  haha…and omg, foiling is the best exercise in the world.  my legs and cardio hasn’t been this good in my entire life.  after i complete a 2 minute ride, it felt like i just ran a marathon.  i’m so tired that i can’t even talk.  but after 3 deep breaths, i’m ready for another marathon ride!
