had a great time free diving with Saori-san. much deeper and much calmer than last year. good to see her progress.

and good to see an eagle ray swim by.

and good to see a tako. do you see it?

here’s a closer look. do you see it?

i saw it and tickled it out of the hole.

then brought it up so Saori-san could play with it. then we let it go.

then i saw my dinner swimming near a rock!!! good thing i had my pole spear! this one is going into the steamer!

November 16, 2018 Hawaii Surf Report

More rainbows all week long…
Good morning 6am.
North shore 4-6′ and Haleiwa Pro ON at 8am. Good conditions.
Ala Moana waist high and clean.
Diamond Head chest high and bumpy.
Trade winds back at 20mph.
Sunny and warm.
Going surfing and foiling.
Have a wonderful day!
Just like my kids…

so good to see Mommy Alyssa all grown up and taking care of baby Noah. had a wonderful dinner and lots of laughs. the next generation is in the making…

Alyssa on the left when she was 12 years old with braces. then little Noah Mizuno and Seth Moniz. haha…

now Seth Moniz is on the World Championship Tour level. he won his heat today against all WCT surfers.

Tony and Tammy have been supporting the kids ever since they were babies. nothings changed…

Seth use to chase pro surfers up the beach to get autographs. now the kids are chasing him. haha.

i can’t explain how proud i am of Seth. and it’s not really about his surfing performance. it’s more about his attitude, his heart, his motivation, and mostly, his respect for everyone. he’s like the coolest kid in the world. everybody loves Seth…

while Seth is on the world championship level, Mateus is just a little kid that loves ice cream.

and this kid can make me laugh all day long. his personality is like a little comedian.

and my other nephew Noah is a cutie too. stay pure kids!
