one thing i love about coming to Japan is soaking in a bath. i don’t have one of these at my house in Hawaii so i take advantage when i’m here.

i’ve been trying to find a tub this exact size but can’t? if you know where i can get one in Hawaii, i would love to know.

and i would also love to know where this is??? omg, i thought this photo was fake when i first seen it. thank you Saori-san for brightening up my day!

and please let me know where this is in Japan! i really want to go there someday and see this with my own eyes…

the beauty of Japan. you won’t find another country that is cleaner and filled with good food like this.

i saw this sign in the parking lot at The Beach Hotel in Okinawa. i was laughing because i know Takahashi-san put it there. a little kid must have been skating and in the parking lot and hit his Porsche. gosh, i wish i had my skateboard. haha…

once i decide to retire from my job, i’m going to go back to making videos again. i had so much fun doing it and it let me have so much quality time documenting my family. not too long ago, the Moniz kids were just Moniz kids. now they’re on top of the world. so looking back just 6 years and reminiscing this beautiful day in Waikiki makes me so happy. these kids will always be like my kids. watch them as the 5 of them share waves along with the happiest Uncle in the world. enjoy…

oh, and look at the comments. this one guy saying i have the worst taste in music. little does he realize that’s Hawaiian surf band Kalapana singing the Japanese surf band Southern All Stars songs. it’s Hawaiian with a taste of Japanese. that’s what the Moniz family is all about! haha…

ive seen ur videos before u have the worst taste in music …. the music change and a little better editing could make ur videos so much better they dont have to be metal it can stiull be chill music try like “Paris Hilton – Stars Are Blind” the lyrics are perfect for brother and sisters hanging at least. its a girly song and just fits so much better i hope u take my advice i mean this in the nice possible way… 

and this guy suggested using Paris Hilton music???? are you freaking kidding me??? my sister and Tony would kill me if i used a Paris Hilton song on this beautiful Hawaiian day…. haha…

woke up bright and early so excited to surf this morning! walked to the seawall and guess what?

it was totally flat!!! i forgot i was in Japan! can’t surf here everyday but that’s life and that’s ok. new typhoon heading this way so i better start to make my way back home before i get stuck.

went for my daily breakfast at The Seaside Beach Hotel. i just love this place!

all you can eat buffet so now you know why i gain so much weight when i’m here. this was only my first round!

reminds me of the movie Top Gun. and reminds me how i tried to enlist myself in the military the next day after i saw that movie. and i bet i wasn’t the only one that did that. haha.
