want to thank Oku-san for the amazing surfing and delicious gifts!

last time i was in Molokai, i went to stop by my favorite poi shop! these local Hawaiians grow the taro, pound it, and sell it right out of their truck. it is the most delicious poi you will ever eat. made fresh with LOVE and ALOHA!

i’m a maniac when i want something. and i won’t stop till i find it. in this case, a little truck for my future hunting trips. spent countless hours searching the classified ads and i finally found it. cheap, reliable, and very simple. luckily my brother is a mechanic so he’s going to make sure everything is running perfectly. then i’m shipping it off! it’s just another step to my ultimate dream. a dream i can see so clearly now…

October 9, 2018 Hawaii Surf Report

Happy Birthday Little Princess! I Love you!!!
Good morning 6:30am.
North shore 3-5′ and good.
Ala Moana chest high and good.
Diamond Head shoulder high and bumpy.
Trade winds at 20mph.
Sun, clouds, rainbows, and warm.
Going surfing and foiling.
Have a wonderful day!
Keeping the Diamond Green

surfed Bowls in the morning, and foiled Diamond Head in the evening. and in-between that, i worked on my project. yeah, i actually had a flight booked again to Japan today but didn’t feel like waiting at the airport all day. why are all the flights so full???

the green at Diamond Head is coming back again. not because of all the rain, it’s because of a Japanese man who always gives back to Hawaii. Ryo-san got some water to sprinkle everyday and now the plants are coming back to life!

good job Ryo-san. so good to see Japanese surfers giving back to the island and its people. i totally respect you!

forgot to upload these photos of another Japanese man i respect a lot. Yamada-san at the age of 64 short boarding and loving life. that’s so freaking cool!!!

totally inspired! i hope to be surfing that good when i’m 64 too!
