Custom Primo and Butter since 1897

been sneaking up on some late evening sessions recently. there is no way in the world i would surf these kind of waves…

but these are dream waves for the foil. so i’ll paddle out to anywhere even if i see a knee high swell that doesn’t even break. i can ride anything now!

one local guy was watching me from on top of the mountain. when i hiked back up, he said “brah, that was awesome! you like one beer?” i said “shoots!” he gave me a Primo and it instantly reminded me of my Grandpa because he use to drink these when i was a kid. i put it to my mouth and drank the whole thing in one sip! that was for you Grandpa. thank you for giving me this amazing life…

want to say good job to the boys. i’m so stoked to see you guys ripping!

went to buy the best homemade Lilikoi Butter on the island. glad their drive up garage service was open!

the Iwata-san family has been loving it for the past few years.

and check out the new jars! so cool! these were the last 3 jars they had of this style. now you’ll never see it again because we bought it all. haha…

Strange Japanese Day in Hawaii

started off the morning with Mama-Iwata-san’s first wave of the day! i can’t believe she remembered everything, and even more than last year! so perfect!

then Papa-Iwata-san’s first wave for his day. got up perfectly and rode it till the end perfectly. amazing how stronger he’s gotten these past 4 years.

Noroko-san’s only been surfing for a few years too. and look how good she got! i was totally amazed!

we surfed pretty long so went to load up on some good food and snacks. first was spicy seafood soup and black bean noodles.

then to Liliha Bakery for some poi donuts.

then to my favorite Taiwan tea shop. the best you will ever try, even better than the tea i was drinking in Taiwan.

then Noriko-san checking out the waves at Kewalo’s for round 2.

Mama and Papa at the park cooling down under the tree.

stopped by a couple of my dream houses. not a bad view for $5,000,000.

yeah, anyone would love to wake up to this…

then a rare find at Diamond Head. here you can have your own private beach and surf spot.

perfect for foiling! this one only costs $8,000,000. keep dreaming everyone!

it was a weird day of strange Japanese things. why would anyone want to destroy a beautiful tansu like this??? my Grandma would freak out if she seen this!
