My Vacation: Sunday morning @ Ala Moana Bowls

i took my 7 day vacation this month and was planning to go to Japan. BUT, after everybody telling me not to come because i will melt, i took their advice and decided to take my vacation right here in Hawaii.

this is probably the hottest summer ever recorded in Japan. highs up to 38C and feels like 44C???? omg! that’s 111 degrees!!! people are dying everyday as thousands are getting hospitalized. please to all my family and friends in Japan, please drink lots of water and keep yourself cool. i’ll see you guys next month.

since i have a whole week off, i’ve been surfing every morning and foiling every afternoon. or foiling every morning and surfing every afternoon. the waves keep coming and coming…

and now since i don’t have to work early in the morning, i can actually stay out past 9pm! but i’ve been waking up at 4:30am anyway. haha.

omg, this morning at Bowls was amazing! the South swell continues and so are the locals! check out Uncle Lance Ohata! i’ve known this guy for 20 plus years.

and Uncle Billy Blankenfield ripping too. i’ve known this guy since i was 11 years old. he use to live next to my Grandpa in Kuliouou and i use to always look up to him. same till this day…

then you have the bodyboarders drop kneeing and reminding me of my Sandy Beach days. so stoked to share this wonderful Sunday with the boys.

i’ll be surfing, foiling, diving, and enjoying one of my longest vacations right here in Hawaii!

Precious Little Cargo

Nao-san is enjoying some Japanese Paradise! look at these amazing photos! i want to go there too!

omg, fresh sashimi and uni? now i’m getting pretty jealous…

why is it that other people can live my dream life? haha. so stoked for you Nao-san for living life to the fullest.

i found a sailing teacher. now i just have to be a good student so i can sail the world!

i use to surf Bowls on Friday evenings and see 30 sailboats going out. i’d think to myself “wow, so beautiful!” now, i won’t be surfing Bowls on Friday evenings anymore because i’ll be on a beautiful sailboat sailing the beautiful ocean. sounds pretty good to me!

my 2 precious cargo. watching my Grandnephews growing up is a treat. i hope they will grow up to enjoy life as much as i am. i love these little boys…
