Chinatown Hawaii: Sidewalk Roast Pork for sale!

want to thank Kyle for sending me these photos. i’d have to say that i would never turn down a gathering like this. no matter how busy i am, i’m never too busy to eat amazing food with good friends after a long day at work. i’m pretty sure Toda-san, Takami-san, and Maki-san feel the same way.

before and after. omg! haha.

and again, another precious moment that lives in our hearts forever.

want to thank Saori-san for these amazing photos from the top of the longest bridge in the world!

this bridge connects Kansai to the island of Shikoku. i had no idea you could climb to the top!!!

this is pretty scary for me. i don’t think i could go through it.

want to thank Fujimoto-san for the treats!

i still can’t believe how the Japanese individually wrap their foods. so beautiful.

omg, i love somen!!!

look what i ate last night at this Korean bar in town.

once it cooks, the cheese melts, and turns into an amazing meal.

talk about amazing, this Japanese melon is amazing.

a truck delivers raw pork to a shop in Chinatown, the delivery guy drops it on the dirty sidewalk. he delivers it anyway, they cook it, and they sell it to clueless customers. by the time the Health Inspectors find out, the fried pork is gone. i hope you didn’t buy some of this one. and if you think it’s the first time, you’re wrong. welcome to tasty Chinatown…

SEX EDUCATION

ok, let me give you guys some free sex education. first of all, Sex Wax was been around the longest of any other wax brand. when i was surfing in the 1970’s, all we had was Sex Wax. so the size, colors, and smell bring back all the wonderful years of my surfing history. back then, we only had one formula. that means, it was one bar for every water temperature. these days, there are formulas for different surfing conditions. most times i surf in Japan, i see the surfers using the wrong bar at the wrong time. so here, i’ll give you some education on what i’ve been using for years.

see the “COOL?” this is for cool water so i would use this in Japan right now. it’s a little softer formula so it won’t get hard once you hit the water. however, in Hawaii, this is too soft and you might actually slip using it. so for Japan right now, this is the call. the green one!

as for Hawaii, Indonesia, or the Summer months in Japan, this “TROPICAL” bar is ideal. it’s a harder formula so it sticks and grips better in warm water. i use this everyday all year around in Hawaii. the blue one.

Sex Wax has been around the longest and if you use it now, you will be still using it 30 years from now. and when you open up that fresh bar of wax, the coconut smell will bring you back to your younger days. the good old days…
