Trade winds up to 25mph today.
Sun, showers, and rainbows.
Going to surf.
Have a wonderful day!

Magic Monday Rides

Round 1:  Started off early this morning paddling out gazing at the stars.

Takahata-san learning how to go higher on the lip.

His technique is starting to become muscle memory.

This is how you do an off the lip.  Look at the 6 local boys paddling out watching this beautiful turn.

Good placement!

Then you can see the fins, spray, and it looks good!  Such a great maneuver!

Round 2:  Miho-san caught another months worth of waves.  Lots of long rides all the way to the wall.

This little baby monk seal was hanging on the beach all day long.

Round 3:  OMG, Bowls was epic!  Only a couple surfers out and the conditions couldn’t have been any cleaner.

Miho-san caught so many long lefts that ended at the wall.  Over and over and over.  Another months worth of waves this evening.

This is the moment.  Surfing with the sunset on a very peaceful Monday evening.

Green flash and then called it a day.  A long day of many great rides.  Goodnight.

Round 1:  Takahata-san taking off on a perfect right.

Nice off the lip!

Many good waves at Bowls lefts.

Surf and smile.  Enjoying the ride.

Round 2:  Miho-san riding another months of waves.

Beautiful cross stepping.

Mid-morning rights were so long.

Cross stepping towards Diamond Head.
