picked up the Shirashi-san’s in the morning and thought to myself, “wow, what a nice young married couple.” i was treating them like a couple, even putting them both in the back seat. romantic yeah?

we surfed some good waves. Megumi-san was super stoked!

and watching Daiki-san on some really good ones too.

gosh, it was so beautiful! i’m so happy to be back home!

Megumi-san has very strong will. she’s only been surfing for a little while but loves it so much. every single wave she was super stoked!

after the perfect wave, the perfect smile.

after we surfed, i find out Megumi-san is the older sister, and Daiki-san is her younger brother. haha. i totally thought they were a married couple! after that, we just laughed about it all day long. good job sister and brother! keep on surfing!
The Young Ones
Eddie WON’T GO!

omg, big surfing news! the eddie aikau won’t happen this year!!! omg! quiksilver and the aikau family couldn’t come to an agreement so it’s OFF! if i was the mayor of oahu, i’d find a way to make it happen no matter what. this contest is the biggest event in the world and hawaii makes multimillion dollars from this event. stay tuned and we shall see. but for now, it’s not going to happen!!!

went surfing with Daiki-san and Megumi-san today. waves were perfect for us. super long rides and very happy faces.

then took a spin out to the east side. sandy beach as beautiful as it can be.

makapuu too. breathtaking views. it’s so crazy how much i love hawaii more and more each time i leave and leave.

then to diamond head. super fun waves and only 2 surfers out.

ate lunch at my favorite custom pizza restaurant. want to hear something funny? i thought this couple were honeymooners. come to find out later, they are brother and sister. haha.

japanese are so conservative, they only choose a little even when they are offered a lot. you can actually choose anything you want on a pizza but there’s hardly anything on Megumi-san’s one.

look at mine! i put everything on it! same price so why not? haha.

omg, want to thank Miwa-san for sending me the beautiful golden moment from shikoku. wish i was there!
