North shore 2-3′ and clean. Next swell on Wednesday and Friday. South shore waist high and clean now. Onshore for sure by mid-morning. Winds weird today. Morning good, afternoon nobody knows.
Weather is junky. Cloudy, rainy, and some sunshine. Weird! No surf today.

omg, so cold in shonan! i’ve been going back and forth there for the past 22 years and have never seen it like this before. gosh, i wish i was there to make a big frosty the snowman! thank you Takahiro for the freezing cold photo.

yes, i guess i can’t complain about the weird wintery weather we’ve been having in hawaii. today was raining most of the day but not when we were surfing this afternoon. lucky timing again!

and not a day goes by that i don’t think about the kids in cambodia. i’m just so fortunate to know that my brother is taking care of them. hi Kalyan! miss u!

and not a day goes by that i don’t think how lucky i am. to be living in hawaii, to be able to travel the world, to be able to teach surfing, and to be able to show the great parts of hawaii makes me happy. that’s why i’m smiling every single day!
